Room recording of a gig I played in St Petersburg in 2014. Originally this was supposed to happen at a venue called da:da which closed suddenly a week before the show was meant to take place. In an unlikely turn of events it was moved at the last minute to Erarta, the largest private museum of contemporary art in Russia.

This set was around the time I was recording and preparing material for the Olympic Mess album. A lot of what you hear on this recording is me experimenting with rough ideas for track structures that became fully realized on the album versions the following year.

For context, this was part of a two gig trip to Russia with Wife and Mischa Pavlovski, which I joined for two days in the middle of touring Europe with Iceage. This was also my first trip to Russia, and the only time I've performed in St Petersburg. It was a weird but memorable one.
